About company: – A leading EPC company in Africa, having business operations in East & Central Africa and annual turnover of more than US $ 50 million - Specialized in designing and executing electrical works like Substation and Transmission Lines, Electrical Installation, HVAC, Mechanical & Plumbing, Elevator Installation, etc.

Job title: Chief Executive Officer / CEO

Reporting to: Board of Directors / M.D.

Job location: Nairobi, Kenya

Educational qualification: M.E. / M.Tech (Electrical) Or B.E. / B.Tech (Electrical) preferably with MBA or post graduate Management degree with relevant work experience

Professional work experience: - Around 15 to 25 years of relevant work experience, out of which at least 5 years at top management level - Should have excellent leadership skills - Should have excellent English communication skills and workable Gujarati language (can speak & understand) skills

Job Description: - Prepare strategic goals, business development strategy, objectives, budgets, policies, and procedures to enhance the company’s market share, revenue growth, profitability and return on investment and get it approved from board of directors. - Regularly review the operating results of the company & compare them to established objectives and goals, and follow-up to ensure appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results. Be responsible and accountable for cascading and executing Responsible for business development and tendering for new projects. Oversee day to day operations of the business. - Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing. Ensure all approvals are in accordance to the company’s authority lines. - Ensure all the projects should complete on time and well within the budget. Ensure all your project team members should maximize the opportunity of variation works and they must take the written approval from the consultant, before starting the variation works. Responsible for leading, developing and motivating employees to achieve business goals. Implement industry’s best practices by providing necessary training to the project team in order to optimize their performance and project profitability. - Should have the cordial business relationship with all the consultants & Clients in order to have the referral business.
